Opulent Font + SVG
About
Please note: The 'SVG' style requires Photoshop CC 2017 or Illustrator CC 2018 (or newer) to use. The 'Brush' & 'Solid' styles are in a traditional font format and are widely supported.
Introducing; Opulent! A beautiful collection of hand-lettered modern calligraphy fonts. What makes Opulent so special is that it comes in 3 different forms; SVG, Brush & Solid - giving you a hugely versatile brush font which can be used in a range of different scenarios.
Here's a run through everything included in your purchase;
-
Opulent SVG Font • Use this version to re-create stunning hand-lettering with high-definition watercolour textures, completely built in to the font as a transparency. What you see in the preview images is exactly how the font types, with nothing added afterwards. Check out the video in the thumbnails above for a quick guide on how to use!
-
Opulent Brush Font • Use this version if you need the font in a traditional vector format, but still maintining an authentic rough paintbrushed finish to it's edges.
-
Opulent Solid Font • Use this version if you're looking for a silkier smooth finish to your text. Perfect for vinyl cutters such as Cricut and Silhouette Cameo.
Photoshop File • If you're unable to access the SVG font, but would still like the high definition characters, I've included the full SVG glyph set as separate images in a layered Photoshop file, which you can simply copy and paste into your document.
Lowercase Alternates • All 3 styles of the font include an 'Alt' version, this has replaced all of the lowercase characters with a completely new set. If you wanted to avoid letters looking the same each time to recreate custom lettering, or try a different word shape, simply switch to the 'Alt' fonts for an additional layout option.
Language Support • Please note the SVG font does not have accented characters built in due to limitations in the font file size, but they are included in the Photoshop File. Brush & Solid versions include language support for; English, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Swedish, Norweigen, Danish, Dutch, Finnish, Indonesian, Malay

This is a really nice set of fonts. I use them all the time.
The font is super. Unfortunately the glyphs don't work with SVG, which is terrible for me; in Portuguese there isn´t a single sentence which doesn't include either ~, ´or ^. Any chance you could do a upgrade? Thanks
Hi Margarida, thanks for your purchase! When you refer to Glyphs not working in SVG, I assume you mean accented characters? As mentioned in the font description (under the language support section), unfortunately I couldn't include the full set of accented characters into the SVG version (which the 'Brush' and 'Solid' versions have), as the SVG font file is so large due to the high detail in each character. If you open the Photoshop file included in the download, it includes all accents ¨ ˜ ´ ˆ ` ˚ ¸ in the SVG style on individual layers, which you can copy and paste manually onto your text - I hope that might be a feasible workaround?
Love this font but trying to color the SVG version in Illustrator and it stays black. I have followed your video so no idea why I can't change it. Any help?
Hi Lauren, thanks for your purchase! It's hard to know exactly what's going on here but here's a few ideas; - Try switching the document color mode to CMYK. - Make sure the 'Black' value is lowered when you're adjusting the color balance to allow the colors to show properly. If you're still not having luck, could you please send a screencast to sam@setsailstudios.com so I can figure out why this isn't working :) Update: I was able to help Lauren change the colour in Illustrator.
