What are the different types of fonts?

While there are many ways to differentiate fonts, the main different categories to start with are serif, sans serif, script, blackletter, display/decorative, and non-Western. What is the difference between a font and a typeface?

The difference between a font and a typeface is that a typeface refers to the overall design, while a font is a specific style, size, or weight within that typeface. This is a bit confusing on its face - we think it’s a bit easier to reference an example. So if “Neue Swiss” is your typeface, "Neue Swiss Bold 12pt" might be your font. Of course, as you’ll find with anything in this wonderful world of fonts, nothing is so simple. What Font License is Right for Me?

A desktop license is the most common license and covers most commercial font usage. You can create graphic designs (logos, signs, etc.) and products (mugs, t-shirts, hats, etc.) for yourself, or your client(s). These are great for logos and branding, movie titles and captions, PDFs, cards, signs and print merchandise. Products may be sold for profit as long as the letters are not the main selling point of your product (like a house number or stamp set). Embedding fonts is not allowed with this license with a few exceptions (such as a PDF reports). All licenses on our site are perpetual, which means you pay once and use it forever. To use a font on your website, you’ll need a web font license. This type of license allows you to embed font files into the CSS code on your site. From there, site visitors can then see and temporarily use your embedded fonts! Web licenses on Creative Market are priced by pageview limits (essentially this means they are priced according to traffic). Beyond the web, we’ve also got you covered for apps and publications. Our app licenses allow you to embed font files in app code. These are best for things like games, mobile apps, and web apps. What's Included;

Faith and Glory One Is a script font which includes upper & lowercase characters, punctuation, numerals, and multilingual support. Alternates are available for several lower case characters, these are accessible by turning on 'Stylistic Alternates' in Photoshop, or via any software with a Glyphs panel (Illustrator, Photoshop CC, Inkscape). For those who are unable to access the alternates via this method, an 'Alt' font is included in your download. Just install it, select 'Faith And Glory One Alt' from your software and type away to input the alternates!

Faith and Glory Two Is a condensed brushed font containing uppercase only characters, punctuation, numerals, and multilingual support are also included. Alternates are available for key characters, you can access these simply by switching between upper & lower case glyphs within the 2 fonts (e.g. typing 'A' and 'a' will give you 2 alternate characters).

TTF and OTF files are included for both fonts.

Wow - what a year it's been for Faith & Glory! Many of you have requested an update for additional uppercase characters to the script font ('Faith And Glory One') - So here it is!

The little 'And' symbol in the main image was also a big hit, so I've packaged up some extra words in this style ('To', 'Of', 'The'), along with an ampersand symbol for those who didn't want to use the 'And' glyph. These are only available to select via a Glyphs panel as they are not assigned to any keys.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
