SB Websnap is a pixel font designed to be legible at very small sizes. The grid used for the design is the minimum possible for a pixel font with good legibility, with a capital height of just 5 pixels.
Although SB Liquid and SB Message both found uses online, SB Websnap was the first SelfBuild Type Foundry typeface designed specifically for screen. It was designed primarily for small text, such as photo credits, legal disclaimers, or on banner adverts where space is limited.
SB Websnap was designed for use in pixel graphics and as a Flash compatible pixelfont, both of which were popular as designers experimented with ways to improve the way the web looked and functioned. Later, rounded versions of the original pixelfont were added, opening up it to use as a headline typeface for today’s high-DPI screens.

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.

- How do I install a font?
After you unzip your font product files, you will see .OTF or .TTF files. To install a font, just double click on the OTF or TTF file. For more information, check out our Font FAQ.

- What software do I need to use this font?
When a font is installed on your computer, it can be used with any program that allows you to create text. Fonts will work in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe software, and almost any other program with a text editor.
