How does it work?

Step 1: Load the required files into Photoshop

Step 2: Open your image and press the play button in the Actions panel

You only need to load the required files into Photoshop once to create the effect over and over.

Compatibility:

The Photoshop Action has been tested and working in Photoshop CC 2018 and above

Features:

• You can apply the effect to your whole image or just a portion
• You can create the effect on transparent images
• The marker strokes are separated onto various layer – experiment by adjusting their layer opacity/visibility to create different looks.
• Control the brightness of marker strokes in different regions throughout your image
• Layers are setup for you to brush on your own marker strokes – a suitable brush for this is included
• Line art layers are setup for you if you would like to have outlines
• A comprehensive video tutorial is included, walking you through how to load the required files, to how each layer generated by the Photoshop Action affects your artwork.

Important to know

• Make sure you are using the English version of Photoshop to run the Action on.
• Check you are using a version of Photoshop that the Action supports.
• Watch the video tutorial to ensure you have your Photoshop file setup correctly. You can view the video tutorial in the above ‘Tutorial‘ section. A link to the tutorial is also included in the ‘Readme‘ file in the download.
• Use high-resolution photos with the Action for the best results and to avoid errors. I highly recommend scaling your photo into the 3500px – 4500px range (at the long dimension) for the best results. Even if your photo is only 1000px at the long dimension, scale it up much larger.
• With Adobe Creative Cloud, you can install multiple versions of Photoshop. If you like this Action but is not supported on your version of Photoshop, you can always install an additional version of Photoshop to run the Action on. Once an Action has been tested and working on a version of Photoshop, it will always work
