Brushes just don't work. They are only in the basic Illustrator brush.
This is a set of 20 graphic styles. It does also includes 4 brushes. The variable-width-profiles.ai file is a graphic styles library; the splatter-brushes.ai file is a brush library. You will need to open the graphic styles library through the Graphic Styles panel: Select the library from the Window > Graphic Styles > Graphic Styles Libraries Menu (bottom left corner) or the Open Graphic Style Library submenu in the Graphic Styles panel menu (top right coner). You will need to open the brushes library through the Brushes panel: Select the library from the Window > Brushes > Brush Libraries Menu (bottom left corner) or the Open Brush Library submenu in the Brushes panel menu (top right coner). - Why do the Graphic Styles boxes appear to be empty?
- When you load the variable-width-profiles.ai library, it might appear as though the style boxes are empty and all the same, but they are not. All these graphic styles are 1pt weight black strokes, no fill (but editable once applied); which means they're quite subtle. If you hover over a box, the name of the style should appear.

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
