Shapes feature two parts:

The Base: which is the layer that is ‘torn’. The Mask: this is the paper area of the shape. Perfect for adding color, clipping photos, textures, backgrounds, artwork, and more! (All shapes mask and/or base shapes can be used alone as well.)

*These are the original texture of the actual shapes that were scanned. If you want the texture to show through something you clip the the layer, play with the Blend Modes until you are happy with the results.

Torn Paper, Texture & Shadow Layer Style set This set includes three types of styles: Paper: These styles can be used on the solid shapes (or any shapes, letters etc) to mimic the look of paper. Texture: These styles can be used with the solid shapes create a realistic torn look. Shadows: These subtle shadows are perfect to add a realistic drop shadow to the base layer of your torn shape.
