This pack is the result of hours of experimentation, which has resulted in brushes with a smudgy, life-like, soft textures that look so real that it's hard to believe that they're vectors. Use these tools to up your vector illustration game and create authentic looking artwork!
Use them to build subtle layers of charcoal tone but setting the opacity to 'Multiply'.

The Brushes
- 6 smudged charcoal brushes.
- 13 smeared charcoal brushes.
- 6 charcoal outline brushes.
- 8 chunky textured charcoal brushes.
- A pressure sensitive version of the brushes is also included - perfect for those who use graphics tablets (Please note that this feature only works in Illustrator CS5+).

These brushes are pretty cool. They have a lot of good points, but just a word of caution. All the files in the purchased download came in as .eps files. They did not load into my AI CC but as a work around I was able to take the sample file, select them all and export them as a brush set with the proper .ai extension. That file loaded. Testing them now and they seem to work, not sure they have all the features but they are working. The smudges and smear brushes have a white or gray background keep that in mind as it might affect your drawings. . . . Cheers!

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
