This was a waste of money. I am reading the responses by the seller that the poor performance is due to MailChimp's third party editor, but it shouldn't be advertised as MailChimp compatible. It was extremely hard to work with on MailChimp and would've required HTML knowledge to ultimately do what I needed to do. Plus, "drag and drop" isn't an entirely accurate description of the way this works in the MailChimp editor. The demo on the site is not how it actually works. Beautiful template, but unfortunately not good if you're using MailChimp.
Hello. I am really sorry that you have issues with out template. We never said that it has drag-and-drop feature in Mailchimp. Also, we are not responsible for the performance as there is no way to control it, we just make compatible templates for Mailchimp. Also, you don't have to know HTML to edit this template. Clients sometimes edit templates in a wrong way. Please make sure that you follow all the steps of uploading: https://youtu.be/WGOXxqt1d_Q If after that you still experience issues, we will refund your money
SECOND EDIT: BACK TO THREE STARS. The beautiful template I created was wiped out upon save. So each time I go into create an email I have to start from scratch and that is NOT what a template means to me. It's nice as a tool, but perhaps MC is not going to play nicely with third-party developers. EDIT: While it is slow and very unresponsive, that is most likely MC's fault. I changed from two stars to four because once I figured out the best way to do this, the template and editing went very well. To anyone using the template, it is hard to do on the fly. However, if you create your template BEFORE putting in the content it will work much better. It is lovely in the browser and on the phone. Original Post: Umm, no. I watched your video about using it in Mailchimp. I got it loaded up just fine and built three sections... again and again. The speed is so slow (much slower than your video) that it is nearly impossible to know what is happening on the page. Click to add a new section and lose the section above it - forever. I think the idea is good, and it does indeed work very well as a design tool - but the slowness is intolerable, and the challenge of trying to figure out what modules is loading and where it is loading is a bit over the top.
Hello! Thank you for your review. Unfortunately, we can't improve mailchimp editor, as it's a third party email editor. The code in our template is as clean as it possible, and it is only thing that we can control, slow interface is mailchimps side problem. Sometimes MC speed depends on your Internet speed. About saves. Button 'Save as a template' just don't work in Mailchimp editor. You should edit your template as a Campaign, and then, you can save and continue editing your template in Campaigns page. Also, we can try to help you via TeamViewer.
I couldn't get this to work in Mailchimp at all. The Mailchimp HTML/Design editor seems really glitchy and incapable of making edits. So...the template design is great...but I couldn't seem to use the Mailchimp interface to consistently edit it.
Hello! We are sorry that you have a bad experience with our template, but we want to say a few fords for our defense. We provide compatible mailchimp email template and we can't control the speed of this editor, unfortunately. Mailchimp has outdated editor, it's true, but you still can use it for editing. Please take a look to this video test, all works fine: https://youtu.be/UnXcR7vNL04 Also, please make sure that you using the latest version of the template(if not, you can re-download it in creative market for free)
