Inspired by the original 1927 Fritz Lang movie and based on a old classic design, Metropolis font is a classic revival, a combination of modern and classic art. Created to answer contemporary needs of 21st century projects.
This elegant and versatile serif typeface captures the essence of classic and modern city, the dualism between the working class and the city planners. Through the elegant lines and sinuous curves this font works perfectly for a display reading or beautifully as a headline or as body copy.
Metropolis includes 254 glyphs and comprises thin, light, regular and bold weights with corresponding true italics.

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.

- How do I install a font?
After you unzip your font product files, you will see .OTF or .TTF files. To install a font, just double click on the OTF or TTF file. For more information, check out our Font FAQ.

- What software do I need to use this font?
When a font is installed on your computer, it can be used with any program that allows you to create text. Fonts will work in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe software, and almost any other program with a text editor. You can learn more in our Help Center about OTF special features and installing your new font.
