The story behind the font:

Downtown Apothecary began on a walk through an old city at golden hour. Storefronts with faded paint. Windows tagged with layers of history. Concrete walls holding the shadows of fire escapes. A vintage apothecary sign, barely legible, its letters softened by decades of sun and rain. That sign stayed. The memory of its imperfections-the way the paint had cracked, the way the serifs had worn down, the way it still said exactly what it needed to say-became the seed of this font. Downtown Apothecary is for designers who understand that the best work doesn't try to be perfect. It tries to be true.
