Borders and Ornaments represents our favorite decorative wood type elements from the Wood Type Revival Collection. The designs include examples of various styles from multiple continents.
Rugged American borders sit side-by-side with formal European patterns and DeLittle of York's distinctive floral ornaments. Enigmatic hand-carved work from India and well-machined geometric American shapes both take their rightful place in this varied cluster of decorative designs.
WTR Borders and Ornaments is not a font, but rather EPS files of vector art. There are two versions: regular and distressed. The regular version is a clean, precise redraw which captures the contours of the original wood type. The distressed version is a rendering of the the textures of the letterpress proof itself, warts and all.
Because wood type was created for headlines, fonts of wood type rarely have extensive character palettes. The characters pictured above are the historically accurate glyphs represented in this font.

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
