Seventy Money Typeface
About
The Seventy Money Typeface is a meticulously crafted blackletter font with a rough, vintage edge, designed for projects that demand an impactful, antique feel. This font stands out with its distressed and weathered texture, giving each character the appearance of having been aged through time, as if printed from worn-out woodblocks or metal type. Its intricate design captures the essence of medieval Gothic lettering, but with a contemporary, gritty twist.
Key Features:
- 859 Characters: The expansive character set includes a wide variety of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and punctuation marks, along with symbols and stylistic extras. This rich character count allows for highly flexible design use, from simple titles to complex typographic compositions.
- Alternates: Seventy Money provides multiple alternate versions of many letters, enabling designers to customize the look and feel of their text, adding variety and flair to each composition.
- Ligatures: Unique letter combinations are elegantly merged with ligatures, enhancing the font’s fluidity and providing a handcrafted, calligraphic feel. These ligatures create seamless connections between characters for a more cohesive and natural flow.
- Swashes: Decorative swashes are available, allowing for additional ornamentation, particularly useful for logos, headers, or typographic artwork where extra flair is desired. These swashes enhance the font's medieval, ceremonial look.
- PUA Unicode: All alternates, ligatures, and swashes are accessible via Private Use Area (PUA) Unicode, making it easy to use the font’s advanced features without needing special design software. This ensures seamless integration into any project, regardless of platform.
- Multilingual Support: Seventy Money supports a wide array of languages, including European alphabets and more. This makes it a versatile tool for global brands, ensuring consistency and readability in multiple languages without sacrificing style.
Design Aesthetic:
With its bold, angular forms and rough, hand-hewn texture, Seventy Money evokes the feeling of centuries-old manuscripts and signage, perfect for designs that require a sense of history, rebellion, or mystique. The vintage blackletter style is ideal for projects like:
- Branding and logo design for edgy or historic-themed businesses.
- Apparel design, particularly for streetwear, gothic, or alternative fashion.
- Posters, flyers, and album covers needing a strong, dramatic typographic presence.
- Packaging for products that emphasize tradition, craftsmanship, or heritage.
Whether you're working on a vintage-themed event, a medieval fantasy project, or simply want to infuse your design with a bold, gothic personality, Seventy Money Typeface offers the versatility and detail to make your text stand out.
