Totally vector so I was able to remove the flames, which is what I wanted. Just a note though, the flames only look good on a dark background which is not mentioned in the description. The left edge of the candles are also totally straight which again looks fine on the dark background, but not so much when you remove the background. But since it's a vector, you can fix it with some fiddling. On the good side, I do think these candles look pretty realistic!
