I need to use the mockup without the background, but even if I delete it a grey background shows up when I place it in my InDesign file. Also, there is a strip along the left edge of the cover page that doesn't work with the cover art I'm trying to place on it. Finally, the page size is not proportional to a standard 8.5 x 11 sheet. It would be great if we could communicate about how to fix these issues, and I could send screen shots to illustrate them. Thank you! Followup: I'm sorry! I didn't mean to be unfair. I am just frustrated because I spent so much time turning layers on and off trying to get a transparent background; I didn't catch that one of the drop shadows covered the entire background. I appreciate your help and have revised my rating. Thank you!
Hi, it's very unfair when you can't use a product and then blame the product by giving it a 1 star rating. The first thing I want to explain is that this product is in PSD or Adobe Photoshop file format, then your problem is that in InDesign there is still a gray background because You don't remove the shadow, the shadow is basically black with a transparent level that can be adjusted, you only delete the background and don't remove the shado, so it will still appear gray when attached to a white background. If you want a clean object, then you have to delete or hide the Shadow layer and Shadow Color layer. thank you hope it helps.
this was my first time using a mock up like this and it was well explained, well set up, and super effective! took me all of ten minutes to have a mock ups of our e-booklet. thank you!

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
