Mantranaga’s MN Modester pushes this conversation further. “As a Southeast Asian creator, I grew up surrounded by a rich visual heritage—from traditional wood carvings to eclectic street typography. MN Modester is my response to the dominant visual narratives of the West, particularly the iconic Wild West aesthetic, which I’ve reinterpreted with a personal touch and the design sensibilities shaped by my Asian perspective.” The result is a font that holds both grit and grace: a typographic dialogue between East and West.
