You know what makes me happy? Options. And soon, I’ll have plenty of emoji options to choose from, because there are 72 of the little suckers coming our way in the next few weeks. It will be glorious. I mean, up until now, I’ve wondered how I could express my love of all things crispy and pork, and now that there’s a bacon emoji, I mean, I’m in heaven. Fist bump emojis? For both to and from? COME ON. Here they are:
Now these are all coming out via Unicode 9, which is slated to come out on June 21st of this year. But before you get all excited, remember that it’ll take some time for these things to roll out to the general public, so if you use an iOS device, for example, these new emoji might come out with iOS 10 in the fall, or potentially, via a software update.
