About

Inspired by vintage, retro, and shabby chic dressing rooms and makeup vanities, I have compiled this texture set of hi-res scans of vintage objects, antique books, and vintage stationery. I've used these textures extensively in my own design work, and now I'm making them available for other digital artists to use.

Great for: backgrounds; scrapbooking; web design; post-processing photos

Use the textures as overlays on photographs to create a dreamy, nostalgic, or romantic look (see my example). Or use the textures to recreate antique looking product labels as seen I have done in the first screenshot of this listing.

To make this set as compatible with as many software programs and skill levels as possible, the files are in .PNG format. If you need this set in .PSD files, please message me, and I can make them available to you for the same price.

Please note that the charm of these textures is that they are scans of original antique/vintage objects and paper ephemera. The texture of the paper, staining, wear and any signs of aging have been beautifully preserved in these hi-res scans so you may enjoy them in all their vintage-y goodness.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
