Jigsaw Sudoku, also known as Irregular Sudoku, follows the same basic rules as standard Sudoku, but with a twist: instead of 3x3 blocks, the grid is divided into differently shaped regions (like jigsaw pieces) that must each contain the digits 1-9 without repetition. Each row and column must also contain the digits 1-9 without repetition.

The two main diagonals, which intersect at the center of the grid, must also contain the digits 1 to 9 (or the appropriate range for the grid size) without repetition.
