25 Wagara Japanese Patterns
About
A collection of 25 seamless Japanese Patterns (Wagara) with their names and definitions.
They are the traditional patterns used in Japan for centuries, so they are authentic and safe to be used for creations to resonate with the audience well-tuned to the Japanese culture!
These patterns are seamless and fully editable in Adobe Illustrator, and there are pattern swatches as well. You can also copy them into Adobe Photoshop. I've also included high-resolution JPG and PNG files of the pattern tiles.
What's in the package:
- 25 vector patterns in AI and EPS (Pattern swatches included in AI)
- 25 SVG vector pattern files (Scalable and possible to change colors in Canva)
- 25 JPEG raster image files in beige and light black as seen in the previews (high quality, 300ppi)
- 25 PNG raster image files in beige with transparent background (high quality, 300ppi)
For each pattern, I have written a short description including the pattern name, origin story, and what it represents, so that you can use them in appropriate manners and occasions, without accidentally meaning something when it shouldn’t :-)

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
