Perfect for my project! Also, you can easily add a seamless pattern.
This mock up is perfectly fine and looks great with my illustrated pattern. It's not a "double click smart object" type of mock up. You have to fill the layers yourself, but they're all masked so it's easy. I just dropped my vector pattern in the mask and size it accordingly. Looks dope... thank you!!

No way to apply a seamless pattern. Don't recommend if that's what you need it for.
For sure it possible, just need you to create it on other files. And drag in to the mock up. And wow that is hurt you give 1 stars
