Purple MAGIC CAVE Textures

You're standing before a quite peculiar cave. It seems to be purple, but more importantly, it seems to be magic. As you stare hesitantly at the entrance, a voice suddenly speaks in your head.

"I am an old and mighty sorcerer. Come on, adventurer. Come inside my magic cave, and I shall grant you my help in art."

So what do you do? Do you come inside the Purple Magic Cave? Or do you lose the chance to seek the help from the powerful sorcerer in your next creative project?

HOW I MADE IT

When creating fairy textures for this collection, I used gouache, watercolor, crayons and titanium white. I mixed all these on a glass plate and then pressed A5 paper to it. The glass was used here like a stamp. This technique is called decalcomania.

As an artist, I love bright colors and always use them in my works. I believe life should be colorful. :)

HIGH QUALITY

All textures were scanned with a high-end Epson scanner using 1200 dpi resolution. Then I did a bit of post-processing, including color correction. Small image artifacts were retouched. After that, all images were scaled to 4500x3000 px and 300 dpi resolution. Using this method, I achieved excellent quality without blowing the file size up.
