Roond – A rounded, organic typeface
About
Roond is a well-developed display typeface with pleasant, rounded, voluminous, and organic shapes. It looks especially great as an uppercase font. It is ideal for branding elements in the food industry (packaging & menus) or cultural fields (poster design, newsletters, etc.). Due to its unique form design, it can also be used for logo branding. However, its main use will likely be as a display typeface for striking headlines in magazines, blogs, or newsletters. Roond is the first typeface from the graphic studio Balua, created as part of a cultural project. Five common and fitting ligatures have been incorporated into the font. To add a bit of fun for users, the font also includes 17 symbols that can be accessed via OpenType or the Glyphs library.
Features:
• Lowercase & Uppercase letters
• Numbers & Punctuation
• International character set (multilingual)
• OpenType features (ligatures)
• Additional small set of symbols
Balua welcomes feedback and wishes you lots of fun designing with Roond.
