Seamless is a photoshop plugin helping you to create seamless/tileable patterns or textures with just a few clicks. What exactly does that mean? A Seamless pattern can be repeated without revealing harsh edges. To achieve this, this tool offers a handfull of time saving functions.

Function Overview: (Global)
- Preview: Quickly show/hide a preview of how the image would look as a repeated pattern.
- Save: Save your image to the pattern presets with a specified name.
Function Overview: (Element Patterns)
- Fix Overflow: Check for overflowing layers and copy them to their opposite side(s). All copies get linked with their origin layer. Remove all copies with a click.
- Remove: Delete all the shifted layers that were create by the action above
- Shuffle Positions: Assign a random position to each layer. Choose if they should stay inside the document and if overlaps are allowed.
- Shuffle Rotations: Assign a random rotation to each layer. Choose a min and max angle.
- Shuffle Scales: Randomly scale each layer in a specified value-range. (creates Smart Object to preserve quality)
- Spread Horizontally/ Vertically: Evenly distribute all layers in horizontal or vertical direction. (calc. based on their center point)
Function Overview: (Texture Patterns)
- Merge all Layers: Small time saver: merge all layers into background layer.
- Flatten Light: Remove light contrasts in the image to make it easier to get it seamless. (color & grey mode)
- Flatten Colors: Reduce colors to the average color.
- Enhance Details: Make small details of the image stand out stronger.
- Invert Edges: Apply an offset which inverts the edges and shows non-tileable areas.
- Auto Patch: Quickly content-aware fill the problematic areas - manual patching on top of that might be necessary
- Create Quarters: Copy each quarter of the image to its own layer for local adjustments

This does not actually work with Photoshop 21.2.9 on my Mac. I cannot install it and the installation instructions do not match the pulldowns in Photoshop as it is on my system. In other words, it's useless and I would like my money back.
It helps me a lot for textures. It allows me to be more controlled on the tissues while applying. Thank you.

This is a very helpful way to simply remix layers in effort to create unique patterns. I find that it creates a lot of holes that need to be filled, and the spread horizontally/vertically option creates overlap that requires fixing... but then it occurred to me that this is not a final result solution, but a great way to simply mix it up, then take over from there. My workflow: - Put every asset on a separate layer - Shuffle them around randomly - Randomly rotate - Randomly scale - Manually click and move around from there with the Move tool and 'auto select layers' turned on Saved me a lot of time. The one thing I do not like is that I had to download a 3rd party app to be able to decompress the .ZXP file... I don't like 3rd party apps, they scare me, malware and whatnot is a real thing so I'm trying to keep my computer 100% clean. I took a risk here and I'm not entirely thrilled about that. Note to dev: simple .ZIP would have been great, thanks.
Thanks for your detailed feedback Glen! You're using it exactly the way I intended it to be used, as a starting point from which you can do the final adjustments. Sorry for the ugly way of installation, unfortunately that's what we all (developers and users) have to deal with since there's no official tool from Adobe to install .ZXP files. At least things are getting better now with PS 2021. The new plugin format can be installed with via double click. My two latest plugins already use that format and there's more to come! :)

- How can I unzip product files?
PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.
Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
