Traces of Time Archive – Ephemera

Traces of Time Archive is a tactile vintage ephemera collection built from real scanned photo albums, aged papers, worn surfaces, analog film details, and found botanical keepsakes. Created for designers who love authentic imperfections, the set preserves faded edges, glue traces, stains, paper grain, and subtle marks of age — bringing the character of a real personal archive into modern collage and editorial design.

The collection includes:

101 digital assets

- 17 scanned vintage album pages,

- 25 aged paper sheets, selected semi-transparent vellum-inspired paper versions,

- 24 semi-transparent paper versions (all Paper Sheets except Paper Sheet 24 are also included in a soft, vellum-inspired transparent version) - PNG format,

- 8 vintage velvet backgrounds (Jpeg format),

- 11 decorative ribbons (PNG format),

- 16 decors (photo film strips, photo corners, pressed flowers and botanicals, photo sheets, and small archival details).

Use the aged paper textures, album sheets, film strips, and translucent paper overlays to build layered digital collages, scrapbook pages, junk journals, memory books, mood boards, photo albums, and mixed media compositions. Decorative ribbons can be layered over photography for a tactile, hand-assembled look, while the film and botanical elements add an analog, collected-over-time feel. The neutral cream, faded beige, dusty blue, burgundy, brown, and charcoal palette works beautifully for nostalgic and editorial layouts.

The collection is also versatile enough for branding, packaging, stationery, invitations, social media graphics, editorial design, art prints, posters, creative portfolios, wedding stationery, lookbooks, and storytelling projects. Combine individual assets, experiment with opacity and blending modes, or layer the semi-transparent papers over photographs to create soft vellum effects and dimensional analog-inspired compositions.
