I printed out an A1 poster with this map just to discover that a bunch of animals are randomly placed - There’s a condor in North America, almost by the Artic! (It’s only living in the Andes of South America - There’s a tapir in the middle of the US! But this animal only exists in the jungles of South America - The Gila monster is placed north of the United States but its habitat is south USA bordering Mexico - The vicuña is placed somewhere in Brazil when it’s only living in the Andes of Peru and Chile - Pelican (bird from the tropics) in Quebec - A boa, also from the tropics placed in Canada - An amazon ocelote placed in the south of Chile… - scarlet ibis native to tropics of south and Central America has been placed in Patagonia - A jaguar native to South America, placed in Africa and in Asia! - A koala in India - Etc And it’s bad because this map is supposed to be educational… but it’s carelessly incorrect
