What are the different types of fonts?

While there are many ways to differentiate fonts, the main different categories to start with are serif, sans serif, script, blackletter, display/decorative, and non-Western. What is the difference between a font and a typeface?

The difference between a font and a typeface is that a typeface refers to the overall design, while a font is a specific style, size, or weight within that typeface. This is a bit confusing on its face - we think it’s a bit easier to reference an example. So if “Neue Swiss” is your typeface, "Neue Swiss Bold 12pt" might be your font. Of course, as you’ll find with anything in this wonderful world of fonts, nothing is so simple. What Font License is Right for Me?

A desktop license is the most common license and covers most commercial font usage. You can create graphic designs (logos, signs, etc.) and products (mugs, t-shirts, hats, etc.) for yourself, or your client(s). These are great for logos and branding, movie titles and captions, PDFs, cards, signs and print merchandise. Products may be sold for profit as long as the letters are not the main selling point of your product (like a house number or stamp set). Embedding fonts is not allowed with this license with a few exceptions (such as a PDF reports). All licenses on our site are perpetual, which means you pay once and use it forever. To use a font on your website, you’ll need a web font license. This type of license allows you to embed font files into the CSS code on your site. From there, site visitors can then see and temporarily use your embedded fonts! Web licenses on Creative Market are priced by pageview limits (essentially this means they are priced according to traffic). Beyond the web, we’ve also got you covered for apps and publications. Our app licenses allow you to embed font files in app code. These are best for things like games, mobile apps, and web apps. About

Innervision is a brutalist Neo-Art Déco display typeface defined by strict verticality, narrow proportions, and strong visual tension. Its constructed, architectural letterforms stretch toward the sky with extreme vertical proportions, high contrast between thick stems and razor-thin connections, and distinctive ink traps that carve light directly into the letterforms. This shift from individual characters to rhythm and pattern creates bold and dynamic headline compositions that command attention.

Rooted in the spirit of 1960s psychedelic poster culture and the geometric discipline of Art Déco, Innervision holds two opposing forces in tension: architectural rigidity and expressive freedom. It is a typeface for altered states — for layouts that refuse to whisper.

Designed for transformation, Innervision performs exceptionally well in distorted layouts, curved compositions, modular systems, and motion graphics. Its exaggerated vertical structure makes it an ideal candidate for typographic experimentation — distortions, warping, wave effects, and manipulations that would break more conventional typefaces. Stretch it, bend it, let it move.

The typeface is ideal for posters, editorial design, festival graphics, covers, branding, and cultural publications.

Innervision includes stylistic alternates, supports more than 40 languages, and features an extended Latin character set covering Western, Central, and Eastern European languages including German, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Icelandic, and Scandinavian languages. All uppercase letters are mirrored in the lowercase slots for seamless typing without Caps Lock.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.

How do I install a font?

After you unzip your font product files, you will see .OTF or .TTF files. To install a font, just double click on the OTF or TTF file. For more information, check out our Font FAQ.

What software do I need to use this font?

When a font is installed on your computer, it can be used with any program that allows you to create text. Fonts will work in Microsoft Office applications, Adobe software, and almost any other program with a text editor.
