Display font Yeah foil balloon mylar
About
Yeah is a gold mylar foil balloon typeface. It's big, It's shiny, and it's high-energy pop kitsch at it's ironic best.
The best thing about Yeah font—it's full colour.
Full colour who thought that would ever be possible? It uses cutting-edge technology, otherwise known as OpenType-SVG to unlock a whole new world of colour. You can use it directly in Photoshop, Illustrator and other native OSx apps.
How I made Yeah
Each letter was modelled in 3d and made to look like a gold foil balloon or Mylar balloons; you know those balloons you have at parties and other celebrations.
Font Styles
The font has three styles—Gold, silver and black (traditional solid black vector font). But with a colour overlay in photoshop, you can tint the font to any shade, like Rose Gold—or the really really ridiculously cool Blue Steel.
Font Usage
The typeface would be perfect for birthday cards, baby showers, anniversaries, social messaging, weddings, Instagram posts, sale announcements and a whole manner of other things.
If the font were a celebrity, it would be more Katy Perry than Kenny Rogers—Cus Baby you're a firework!
Unicase font
The font is a unicase font, so it only contains uppercase characters. Yeah font also includes numbers, basic punctuation and some symbols. For a full list of letters, please check the last screenshot.

** Please note: ** OpenType-SVG is a new technology, it only became industry standard in 2016. At the moment colour bitmap fonts will only work on ** MacOs **.
Update: It now also works on the latest versions of Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC on Windows.
Illustrator CC 2018+ and Photoshop CC 2017+ officially support and display colour fonts. InDesign CC 2018 has unofficial support. They will work with most Mac native apps like pages, keynote, TextEdit and Safari.
Adobe Indesign does not fully support OpenType-SVG bitmap fonts. If you intend on using the font in indesign then you do so at your own risk.
For PC users I have included all the letters as .png and .psd files so you can still use them for your designs.

** Font Preview **
The preview below is for the black version of the typeface. CM is unable to show the full-colour font, but you can see all the glyphs in the preview screens.

About Simon Stratford
Hello, that's me or itsmesimon, aka Simon Stratford. I design everything from custom typefaces for advertising agencies to ready to buy fonts for designers (like you) to the occasional digital oil painting for TV and print.
I've spent over 20 years in the design industry, from teaching photoshop, web design, movie promotion, and branding agencies to digital marketing—I think I've done most jobs. I got tired of the rat race and the daily commute in London. So I stopped doing things I didn't what to do—and started doing things I did want to do—more creative things.
