Lindisfarne Script font
About
This time I touched another classic manuscript for my font. The Lindisfarne Gospels is an illuminated manuscript probably produced around the years 715–720 in the monastery at Lindisfarne, off the coast of Northumberland. It’s the work of a monk named Eadfrith. He was a highly trained calligrapher, and he used insular majuscule script in the manuscript.

Love the historical context (ie Lindisfarne Gospels) as I’m also using for christian merch, there’s extra significance to it. I do wish that the “d” is more legible but if you’re using it for stylistic purposes (as I did), it works fine :) overall, I love it!
Love this one and all of your manuscript typefaces. I'm a huge medieval history nerd and I am absolutely loving how you styled them from authentic sources. I'm going to try to sneak them into my actual design work, but even if it's just for my own personal projects, I'm glad to have them in my library.
