Here's a collection of texture overlays I have used over the years to create custom backgrounds or used to distress photos to give them a unique weathered look.

These were created using charcoal and graphite pencils and brushes with lots of experimentation. From fine detail to roughed up charcoal there are plenty creative ways to age your stuff.

What's included

4 full-frame transparent PNG's
13 floating/edgeless transparent PNG's
Full set of hi-res Photoshop PSD brushes.

Image sizes range from the smallest at 2154x1842 pixels to a large one at 4676x3400 pixels. All files are 300ppi.

To install the PSD brushes (.abr file) just double click on it and it should automatically add it to your brushes palette.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
