Dietitian Website WordPress Theme
About
A WordPress block theme for registered dietitians and nutritionists in private practice, laid out like a food magazine, with guided setup, a privacy-first consult form and accessibility tested for WCAG 2.2 AA. No page builder, no required plugin.
Journal is a WordPress theme for registered dietitian nutritionists in solo private practice. Your home page reads like an issue of a food magazine: a cover, a numbered contents, your credentials as a feature, your first consult as a recipe card, and your newest articles and recipes.
Try it before you buy. Open the live demo and click through every page. The Customise tab on the right lets you try all five colour palettes (or mix your own), the three font pairings, the corners, and all 8 headers and 8 footers.
Set up in about ten minutes, no code. Journal Setup opens when you activate the theme and asks you step by step, with your site shown live as a small magazine page:
- Your practice name, logo, credentials and contact details, entered once. The lines that show them stay connected, so a new license line or phone number is changed in one place.
- Your style: five colour palettes or your own colours (Setup checks every pair, so everyone can read your site), three font pairings, corners from square to round, and 8 headers and 8 footers, chosen separately.
- Your pages: Home, About and credentials, What I help with, First consult, Fees and insurance, Journal, Questions, Book a first consult and Website privacy, with menus, made from Journal's own designs.
- Optional free plugins: Contact Form 7 (installed and set up with the ready form), Yoast SEO and a security plugin. Journal Setup installs the newest version that works on your server.
Credentials people can check. Your credential, CDR registration and state licenses appear where visitors look for them, with links to the public CDR credential lookup and your state board's license lookup.
A privacy-first consult form. No health questions and no message box, on purpose: clients shouldn't type health details into a website form. The ready form asks for a name, how to reach them, when suits and how they'll pay. With the free Contact Form 7 plugin, messages go to your email and are not stored on your site.
Fees as a nutrition label. Your fees, insurance in plain words, an optional Medicare row, superbills and a Good Faith Estimate notice for self-pay clients. Three labels side by side or a compact price list: one click in the editor.
A journal for articles and recipes. Each entry is an article or a recipe, with an optional issue number. Recipes start from a ready pattern with a "Recipe, at a glance" label, ingredients and method.
One click, another look. The cover, the contents, the journal spread, the fees and the back cover each come in two or three looks made of the same blocks (13 in all). Your words and prices stay when you switch. A private Component gallery page shows every section and look.
Accessible, and tested. Built for WCAG 2.2 AA. Every page is tested in every colour style at phone, tablet and desktop width: no automated WCAG 2.2 AA violations, visible keyboard focus, readable contrast in hover and focus states, reduced motion respected, and no sideways scrolling at 320 px or 200% zoom.
Help when you need it. A PDF setup guide in your download, and online documentation with search, screenshots and short clips. Every step of Journal Setup has a Help link to the right page.
Nothing loads from other companies. Fonts are bundled and served from your own site. No tracking, no external scripts, no page builder and no required plugin.
