Vintage Botanical Floral Pattern
About
There's a specific kind of garden that only exists in old botanical illustrations — impossibly detailed, every species at its best, nothing wilting. This pattern lives in that garden.
Lilies, irises, columbines — painted without a single outline, just layered pigment until the petals hold their own shape and the stems lean the way real stems do. The background is a warm off-white called Egret: not stark, not cream, something closer to the paper of an old watercolor album left in good light. Scarlet martagon lilies, dusty cobalt irises, a soft blush trumpet lily, tiny forget-me-nots tucked between tall stems — and a lot of air running through all of it. Vertical, unhurried, luminous.
Somewhere between an 18th-century botanical folio and a seamless print you'd commission for something that really matters.
