Cascade Script
About
Cascade Script is a modern revival of a script discovered in an old lettering book, carefully reinterpreted for contemporary design while preserving the charm, movement, and personality of the original hand-drawn letterforms.
Rather than smoothing away its history, Cascade Script celebrates it. The graceful slant, elongated strokes, expressive capitals, and naturally imperfect rhythm give the typeface the feeling of lettering taken from another era and brought back to life for modern use.
The family includes two distinct styles:
Smooth presents the lettering with clean, refined edges and even strokes, creating a polished version suitable for elegant branding, editorial work, invitations, packaging, and sophisticated display typography.
Typewriter Texture introduces an aged, inked finish inspired by old printed pages and imperfect analog reproduction. Its irregular texture gives the lettering a more nostalgic, tactile character while retaining the same graceful forms of the Smooth style.
Together, the two versions allow Cascade Script to move effortlessly between clean contemporary typography and authentic vintage-inspired design.
Cascade Script is especially suited for editorial layouts, fashion branding, Mediterranean and summer-inspired projects, packaging, wedding stationery, restaurant and café identities, photography overlays, posters, product labels, magazines, book covers, quotes, and romantic visual storytelling.
