50 Gouache American Food Clipart
About
American Comfort Food Clipart — 50 hand-illustrated gouache food graphics in transparent PNG and JPG
Fifty American comfort food illustrations drawn in a soft textured gouache style: grainy speckled fills, gently rounded silhouettes, and natural appetising colours pulled from the food itself. There is no line art and no glossy 3D render finish — edges are defined by a darker shade of each dish's own colour, so the artwork reads as illustration rather than stock photography when it sits beside type on a menu, a label, or a shirt.
Most American food clipart on the market falls into one of two camps: photoreal 3D renders that fight with typography, or hard-outlined cartoon art that dates a design instantly. This set was built for the space between them — printable, textured, and neutral enough to carry a real brand system.
Prompted, curated and hand-finished by a graphic designer with seven years of experience, with the gouache style held consistent across every file.
Fifty distinct dishes across five categories
Diner and fast food — cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, french fries, hot dog, chili dog, pizza slice, whole pizza, fried chicken bucket, chicken tenders, onion rings, philly cheesesteak, grilled cheese, club sandwich, milkshake
Breakfast and brunch — pancakes, waffle, biscuits and gravy, bacon and eggs, breakfast burrito, glazed donut, cinnamon roll, diner coffee
BBQ and cookout — brisket, barbecue ribs, pulled pork, buffalo wings, corn on the cob, mac and cheese, baked beans, coleslaw, potato salad
Regional classics — southern fried chicken, cornbread, shrimp and grits, gumbo, lobster roll, clam chowder, chicken and waffles
Fair food and sweets — corn dog, funnel cake, soft pretzel, nachos, popcorn, candy apple, cotton candy, apple pie, s'more, root beer float, lemonade, sweet tea
Fifty separate dishes — no repeats, no recoloured duplicates padding the count.
Why fifty across five categories matters
One purchase covers an entire food business rather than a single corner of it. A smokehouse menu, a breakfast diner's social calendar, and a county fair concession stand can all draw from the same library and still look art directed by one hand — same grain density, same palette logic, same silhouette weight across all fifty files. For designers running multiple restaurant or food truck clients, that consistency is the difference between a usable asset library and a folder of mismatched graphics.
Files you'll receive
50 transparent background PNG files — 300 DPI, 2560 × 3200 px 50 matching white background JPG files — 300 DPI, 2560 × 3200 px
Every PNG has a clean cut edge with no white halo, so illustrations layer cleanly over dark shirts, black menu boards, kraft paper textures, and coloured backgrounds without any masking or cleanup. The white background JPGs are there for fast mockups, print layouts, and anywhere a flattened file is simpler to work with.
