The Cutouts - Collage Display Font
About
Bring bold, handmade energy to your next project with The Cutouts — a playful, all-caps display font crafted entirely by hand with scissors. Inspired by Matisse’s cut-outs, vintage jazz posters, and DIY print techniques, this font embraces raw edges, visual rhythm, and analogue charm.
Each uppercase letter was hand-cut for an authentic, imperfect look. For more design flexibility, the font also includes a lowercase set that features a thinner, lighter version of the uppercase letters — giving you contrast and layering options within the same style. These aren’t traditional lowercase forms, but a second cut of the same set made in a finer weight for visual variation.

Use it as-is, or deconstruct and rearrange the letterforms like a collage artist — The Cutouts font invites you to create with spontaneity, texture, and handmade spirit.
