Hi Adri, I'm sorry for your disappointment. Not sure what you expected. The product is exactly as shown and all of the promo images were made with the actual product files, so "what you see is what you get." The JPEGS files have greyscale bitmap information in them, so the "edges" of some of these deckles will look more photo-realistic and probably are the ones to use if you want the most naturalistic effect. These JPEG edges are the ones being shown in the first promo image, for example. The accompanying vector files were made from these bitmap scans in Illustrator, using the "Image Trace" function, and so consequently, are vector outlines of the outer perimeters and may appear "flatter" because of that. Hope that clarifies expectations somewhat better. Best, Mark
