Batch Resize, Color Convert Script
About
Stop editing images one at a time.
If you've ever had to resize, recolor, or re-save hundreds of photos by hand — opening each one, adjusting it, saving it, and doing that same thing again and again — you already know how much time it eats up, and how easy it is to make a mistake somewhere along the way.
MRI Studio is a Photoshop script that does the entire job for you, automatically, across an entire folder of images at once.
What it does
-
Resizes images — fit, crop, stretch, or scale to any size, with the option to auto-keep the correct ratio
-
Converts color mode — RGB, CMYK, Lab, Grayscale, Bitmap, or Indexed Color, applied correctly every time
-
Upscales small images — enlarges photos without the blur or pixelation you'd normally get
-
Exports to any format — JPG, PNG, TIFF, PSD, or BMP, with quality and file-size control
-
Keeps files under a target size — perfect for upload limits, without shrinking the image
-
Runs on a whole folder — one click processes every image inside it, the same way, every time
Who this is for
-
Designers who need consistent, print- or web-ready files without repetitive manual work
-
Marketplace and e-commerce sellers who upload dozens of product photos and need them all sized and formatted the same way
-
Stock photo sellers who need to prep large batches of images to each platform's exact requirements
-
Photographers and image creators delivering finished sets of photos to clients
-
Publishers and editors preparing images for magazines, books, and print — where color mode (CMYK) and resolution have to be exact
Where it's used
Product catalogs, e-commerce listings, stock photo libraries, magazine and book layouts, portfolio delivery, social media batches, and any workflow where the same edit needs to happen to many images at once.
Why it matters
What used to take hours of repetitive clicking now takes minutes. Set it up once, click Start, and walk away — MRI Studio handles the rest, with a live log showing exactly what happened to every file.
Requirements: Adobe Photoshop (CC 2018 or later recommended).
