Liminal Book — Sacred Overlay

Liminal Book — Sacred Folk Illustrations & Vintage Overlays

Liminal Book is an eclectic collection of mystical folk-inspired illustrations, ceramic objects and tactile archival elements created for expressive, layered design.

A strange little world of sacred hearts, moons, suns, eyes, celestial symbols, whimsical faces, mushrooms, birds, creatures and ornamental objects meets antique book covers, aged paper, delicate lace and pressed petals. The collection blends folk art, vintage devotional imagery, surrealism and contemporary editorial aesthetics.

Perfect for editorial design, posters, album covers, branding, packaging, invitations, social media, collage, scrapbooking and other experimental projects.

ABOUT THE COLLECTION

The paper and book overlays are sourced from authentic archival materials approximately 100–200 years old, preserving their original age, wear, stains, fading, imperfections and beautifully distressed surfaces. These historical textures bring a genuine antique character to modern compositions.

The ceramic objects and illustrations are AI-generated and carefully curated, combining surreal folk imagery, celestial symbolism and ornamental ceramic aesthetics.

The collection brings these two worlds together — authentic centuries-old archival textures and contemporary AI-generated imagery — creating a distinctive mix of history, fantasy and modern editorial design.
