Retro 1950s Illustrations Volume 2
About
These mid-century illustrations can be especially difficult to find for commercial use, in large part due to the layers and layers of copyright research that must be performed. At piddix I work with a team of copyright and intellectual property lawyers to ensure that every piddix image is safe to use for all kinds of personal and commercial design projects. The illustrations in this set are from both the personal piddix archive as well as several archives I’ve traveled to in two different states. I’ve scanned them at 600 ppi, spent hours and hours restoring the often-dirty and marked originals, and isolated them on a nice, bright white background. A great, expressive collection of people from the 1950s.
