8 Bits Haltone Effect

Create a retro CRT / RGB halftone digital print effect with a strong 1980s–1990s computer graphics aesthetic. Convert the photograph into a highly pixelated, low-resolution halftone image made entirely from small colored dots, similar to an old CRT display, newspaper print, or early computer bitmap graphic.

Use a limited RGB color palette, primarily electric blue, neon green, black, and bright white. Break the entire image into a dense pattern of small circular or square halftone dots. The dots should vary in size and density according to the brightness and shadows of the original photograph, creating the illusion of the image being reconstructed from a digital dot matrix.

Increase the contrast heavily and simplify the tonal range so the face and background become bold graphic shapes rather than smooth photographic gradients. Add RGB channel separation and slight chromatic misregistration, with subtle blue and green offsets around edges, giving the image a distorted analog-digital printing appearance.

Add a subtle CRT screen texture, pixel grid, scanline imperfections, digital noise, color bleeding, and slight horizontal displacement. Keep the image intentionally low-resolution and slightly degraded, as if it were captured from an old monitor, printed from an early color printer, or reproduced from a vintage computer magazine.

The typography should also use the same pixelated/halftone treatment. Keep the white and blue text with neon green RGB offsets, slight duplication, and imperfect registration so it feels integrated into the digital print effect rather than perfectly clean.
