A note about seamless patterns: Sometimes you will see fine lines when using a seamless pattern swatch in illustrator. This is just the way Illustrator displays the pattern tiles on screen. The lines disappear when you print directly from illustrator. To avoid the tiling lines when you export the pattern as a JPG or PNG choose “art optimized” instead of “type optimized” in the dialogue box. Just follow the prompts when you export: options, anti aliasing, art optimized. You will see that when you open the JPG in photoshop or preview there will be no lines.
