I purchased this template because I have liked others made my this company. I edited the template as always and pulled it over into Mailchimp. For some reason, it was presenting all skewed. My images were bigger than they were suppose to be (I sized them based on the recommendation) and they were throwing off the size of everything else. After hours of rebuilding, resizing images, etc to see if I could fix the issue, I spent over an hour in a CS chat with Mailchimp. They could find no issues in the coding. I decided to pull the UNEDITED template over into Mailchimp to see how it looked and it was skewed the exact same way. I think the coding is off on the template for Mailchimp. Bummer because I really liked the look.
Hi. We are very sorry to hear that you are experiencing problems. Yes, images look big in MailChimp because we provide the option to use retina images to make your template look perfect on retina displays. Unfortunately, when exporting the MailChimp version, these attributes are removed because MailChimp does not accept them, so these dimensions must be changed in the MailChimp itself. But if you export the plain HTML and upload it to mailchimp, this problem won't exist. We warn about this issue in our documentation, in big red text so you don't miss it. We will think about how to make it more visible. Our builder, unlike mailchimp, allows you to change padding, background images and use retina images. I am very sorry that you were not satisfied. Perhaps if you export the normal version you will be satisfied with the result. Also, our support always helps our clients, just write an email or leave a comment on CreativeMarket with your problem. Regards, Pavel
