This brush for Procreate app on iPad flows exactly like a pointed pen (also known as dip pen). Perfect for practising your copperplate, roundhand, engrossers, spencerian or ornamental script. And of course so many variations of modern calligraphy as well. The tops and bottoms come out perfectly squared. Super high contrast in stroke thickness for super-thin hairlines and thick shades. And some 'streamline' for smooth curves. If you find brush-script brushes difficult to use, this is a much easier brush to create with.

You can also get this brush as part of my Lettering Starter Kit (creativemarket.com/thescratchynib/1472373 ) which is 4 brushes for the price of 3. The photos show some of the lettering I have done with this brush.

Please note this is a digital download only. You need the Procreate app for iPad to use this brush. Does not work in Photoshop.

The seller promised clean flat ends on downstrokes, and this brush certainly delivers! Most other Procreate calligraphy brushes leave more or less rounded ends on the downstrokes, which, while not looking bad, look less realistic than what this brush creates. I'm still learning how to consistently create smooth, tighter curves (especially on n's and m's) with this brush, since it's is a little different than what I'm used to. But I'm sure that will come with practice :-) Thanks for creating this great brush!
