Chalk Procreate Lettering Brush

This custom brush for Procreate app on iPad is the best of both real and digital worlds. You get the real chalk effect, but without having to draw each letter and filling it in. Because it gets thicker with pressure, you can use it like a real brush. Much easier and quicker than a real chalk. Also uses a little 'streamline' to make all your curves automatically smoother.

The photos show lettering I have done with this brush.

Some tips for using it:

• Use the 'Charcoal Block' default brush under Charcoals (turned up to max size, black colour) to create the blackboard background.
• This brush becomes thicker with more pressure, so you can use it to quickly write with brush-like calligraphy, in addition to just drawing the letters and filling them in like a real chalk.
• To install the brush in Procreate, first save the .brush file in your iCloud drive. Then open Procreate, tap the plus (top-right corner) in the brushes panel. Tap 'Import' and select 'Import from…' and select this brush.
