There are two PNG files for each shape. One has only the black paper area and one is the full piece. This allows for easy masking and adding the paper texture to your image with blend modes (See my fourth image for an example). Different blend modes work better for different images and ripped paper pieces, so I recommend experimenting to find the right look.
