INK STAMP Distressed Text Photoshop Effect

This Photoshop effect gives your text a cool distressed, ink bleed look, suitable to evoke either hand written text (for example with fountain pen or ink pen), a printed look (for example in old print or newspapers), a stamp or old, vintage typewriter effect. It has a retro, vintage, grunge feel to it, with realistic grunge texture. It's ideal for reproducing the look from Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings or other fantasy or medieval movies or movies about history.

Everything is fully adjustable and editable - you can control the amount of ink bleed and the level of the effect simply by turning on and off the corresponding filters or choose between different ink colors if you don't want to go with the default one. The paper texture is also fully editable and custom made and you can choose between 15 color variations of the paper.

Moreover, the help file comes with recommended fonts and links where to download them for free. Those fonts are used in the previews so make sure you download them first before editing the Photoshop (PSD) file.

The file is using smart objects. You can add multiple lines of text, change fonts and font sizes, add lines and other graphics and the effect will automatically apply to all the elements that are inside the smart object. In one single click!

The mockup works with smart filters and inner shadow effect (layer style). You will get 1 PSD file (CS6 and higher).

The file is very easy to use:

• Open the Photoshop file you downloaded
• Double click the smart object layer
• Write your text in this smart object
• Add lines or other graphics if necessary
• Save the smart object and go back to the original file to further customize the effect as needed
