## Featured Images ##

Business Identity is a theme that's designed to allow you show off your images. You may have been using another theme before switching to Business Identity or you may have had a lot of images uploaded to your WordPress media library [1] before activating Business Identity on your site. If this is the case, then please download and install the Regenerate Thumbnails [2] plugin. This is an essential step towards making sure that your website loads images at a sensible size and also ensures that any old images that you've uploaded into your site before activating the theme are accounted for. You will find Business Identity's recommended media settings on the demo site [3].

## Updates ##

### [3.0.3] Monday, November 23rd, 2015 ###

  • Enhancement: Better excerpt handling. Add a "Read More" link to excerpts for easier navigation.
  • Enhancement: Update theme POT and various theme translations.
  • Enhancement: Theme Options Overhaul; tuck all theme options into their own panel to avoid conflicts with Core panels and to make the theme more in-line with WordPress.com's approach to theme options in the customizer.
  • Patch: IE9, which is supported by WordPress.com and us, does not support contains. Change RTL detection to jQuery to avoid script errors in IE9.
  • Patch: Remove old title handling from theme now that WordPress 4.3 has been released.
  • Patch: Change theme author URL to correct https location.

### [3.0.2] August 2nd, 2015 ###

  • Patch: Remove all core-related section modifications from the Customizer. This has proven to be too fragile with WordPress’ ever-changing Customizer implementation, and the user experience gains are outweighed by the negative repercussions of PHP fatals or warnings when the Customizer changes.

### [3.0.1] July 22nd, 2015 ###

  • Enhancement: Add more language packs into theme.
  • Patch: Minor adjustments to ensure that theme adheres to WordPress coding standards [1].
  • Patch: Minor i18n adjustments.
  • Patch: Make sure that all adjustments to the Customizer have checks in place to make sure that controls and sections aren’t empty before doing anything with them. A lot of new additions are coming to the Customizer in 4.3 and in some cases sections and controls have been either renamed or changed. Because of this we need to make sure that sections aren’t empty before manipulating them.
  • Patch: Use Use HTTPS for Google API external libraries [2].
  • Patch: Better unboxing experience for front page Testimonials section.
  • Patch: Better Masonry handling in front page and footer widgets.
  • Patch: Reduce the max width for page hero images. 9999 was too large.
  • Patch: Better Google font handling.
  • Patch: Ensure that when the site title is hidden the menu toggle is still available to mobile visitors.

  • Patch: Ensure that custom Typekit fonts and bold text work well together.
  • Patch: Better testimonial featured image handling.
  • Patch: Minor adjustments to ensure that theme adheres to WordPress coding standards [1].
  • Patch: Better page hero handling to ensure responsiveness across all viewports.
  • Patch: Updated language files.
