Godwit Font Family with Extras

Don’t be afraid of the dark! Grab the attention of everyone around with sophistication and style. High-contrast styles like these hit all of the right marks when you need to go big. Splashes you create will jump out from the page and screen with this collection of 6 intense fonts.

Godwit is an experimental font family that includes a high contrast serif, an alternated script, a signature with 3 weights, a swashes font with 2 new stylish wet looks from script and signature.

The piece screams creative freedom and exploration, as the color literally breaks through the boundaries of the original type. The final piece is really fluid as each letter links smoothly into the next and you can feel the real natural ink paths. This is a benefit of Godwit and the most powerful-distinguishable feature, as most standard fonts wouldn’t allow for this fluidity, especially a serif font.

The main idea comes from being fluent and smooth-spoken natural ink shapes. As we go into the details, the organic shape of the body makes the font unique. And uniqueness needs a signature. Godwit Signature comes with 3 weights and the new style is called “wet” which feels undried ink looks. Feel the realness, also you can support them with Photoshop styles such as liquid mercury, black ink, or even chrome! Amazing swashes, super cool open type features, multiple glyphs for letters along with many options writing the same word in different manners for sexy headlines. Its Scripts provide a nice rhythm and dynamism within the text. The shapes of letters show a taste for elegance and extravaganza at the same time but with all extra characters and swashes? It will be more than a text. The motto of Godwits is “ It’s not about serifs or scripts anymore, it's about being design itself ”. The collection lends itself to the design, packaging, and advertising of everything with a romantic feel and liquid love potion; weddings, greetings, cosmetics, lingerie, book covers, and too many more to mention! These fonts are a great place to begin getting that tone. Bold, seductive curves with sexy lines, runway ready. This is typographic innovation at its most gorgeous. Luxurious and fashion-forward type design can be reinvented with Godwit’s natural-ink look.
