For scaling this textures in your cool designs, I recommend using "Nearest Neighbor" interpolation in Photoshop. You can find this option on top panel when the "transform tool" selected. As well as using pencil tool instead of brush tool for masking or erasing is more preferably to preserve hard edges of a brushes.
