What are the different types of fonts?

While there are many ways to differentiate fonts, the main different categories to start with are serif, sans serif, script, blackletter, display/decorative, and non-Western. What is the difference between a font and a typeface?

The difference between a font and a typeface is that a typeface refers to the overall design, while a font is a specific style, size, or weight within that typeface. This is a bit confusing on its face - we think it’s a bit easier to reference an example. So if “Neue Swiss” is your typeface, "Neue Swiss Bold 12pt" might be your font. Of course, as you’ll find with anything in this wonderful world of fonts, nothing is so simple. What Font License is Right for Me?

A desktop license is the most common license and covers most commercial font usage. You can create graphic designs (logos, signs, etc.) and products (mugs, t-shirts, hats, etc.) for yourself, or your client(s). These are great for logos and branding, movie titles and captions, PDFs, cards, signs and print merchandise. Products may be sold for profit as long as the letters are not the main selling point of your product (like a house number or stamp set). Embedding fonts is not allowed with this license with a few exceptions (such as a PDF reports). All licenses on our site are perpetual, which means you pay once and use it forever. To use a font on your website, you’ll need a web font license. This type of license allows you to embed font files into the CSS code on your site. From there, site visitors can then see and temporarily use your embedded fonts! Web licenses on Creative Market are priced by pageview limits (essentially this means they are priced according to traffic). Beyond the web, we’ve also got you covered for apps and publications. Our app licenses allow you to embed font files in app code. These are best for things like games, mobile apps, and web apps. ZT Hakimi is a clean, balanced sans-serif built for straightforward, versatile communication. The family holds a neutral, well-proportioned structure from Hairline to ExtraBlack, keeping letterforms consistent and readable across the full weight range rather than shifting character as it gets heavier or lighter.

Its discipline draws from two different worlds of typography. The clarity and restraint come from the same principles that guide modern interface typography — the kind of quiet, legible system type designed to disappear into a screen rather than compete with it. Its width and weight character take cues from a different tradition: the confident, expressive proportions of contemporary display grotesques, built to hold presence at large sizes without losing composure. ZT Hakimi sits between those two instincts — precise enough for interfaces, expressive enough for headlines.

The family spans eleven weights in both upright and italic, for 22 styles total, alongside two variable font files covering the full weight range. Glyph coverage totals 600 characters across the Latin set, with support for old-style, tabular, and tabular old-style figures, case-sensitive forms, ordinals, slashed zero, fractions, subscript and superscript, and an extended currency set.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.

What software do I need to use this font?

When a font is installed on your computer, it can be used with any program that allows you to create text.
