About

Made on Film is a collection of high-resolution analog textures and overlays created from a blank roll of developed 35mm film.

The film was altered entirely by hand - scratched, pressed, punctured, drawn on with markers, pencils and wax crayons, stained with alcohol, then digitized frame by frame. These are not simulated film effects, but real physical surfaces filled with grain, dust, uneven colour and accidental detail.

How to use

Use the backgrounds as complete surfaces, or place an overlay above your photograph or layout. Apply it directly for an immediate effect, then adjust the opacity, scale or blending mode for a more individual result.

Try Multiply or Hard Mix with the light overlays, and Screen or Lighten with the dark overlays. The final appearance will vary depending on the colour and contrast of the image beneath.

How can I unzip product files?

PC: To extract a single file or folder, double-click the compressed folder to open it. Then, drag the file or folder from the compressed folder to a new location. To extract the entire contents of the compressed folder, right-click the folder, click Extract All, and then follow the instructions.

Mac: Double click the .zip file, then search for the product folder or product file.
